Location: Roseau City Park Pier

Managed by: City of Roseau

Management Address

121 Center St
Roseau MN 56751

The pier is located within Roseau's largest park, Roseau City Park. The Park has many amenities available to visitors including playgrounds, camping (tent and RV sites), bathing facilities, grills, picnic tables, picnic shelters, horseshoe pits, boat launch, and trails. It is located at the southeast section of town and encompasses over 40 acres. The pier itself looks newer but is not accessible to people with mobility impairments.

Description

It is questionable on whether anyone with an ambulatory disability can access the ramp due to the washout trail that leads to the ramp.  Not much time will be spent talking about this ramp due to this lack of accessibility; potential users should review the pictures to assess whether they think it would be usable for them.

If a formal evaluation were to be completed it would show not access route, not the required fishing points based on shape and railings built in a manner not to conform to regulations making this tied with Lake Bronson State Park's eastern pier as the most inaccessible pier within the region.
