This park is located on Cross Lake and is multiuse. It includes a boat landing and launch, fishing, picnicking, and camping area with electrical hookups and dump station. The element highlighted here is its accessible fishing pier where people can fish for sunfish, northern pike and walleye.

Description

This pier is a floating wooden structure that can support many anglers at one time. The common species include sunfish, northern pike and some walleye. The area used for parking has a gravel base but is firm and stable when dry. As you travel to the parking area the road goes down a steep incline and during heavy down pours may become difficult to use due to erosion. Located next to the boat ramp is a seasonal as well as overnight camping area with a camp ground host. Persons can ask the host for an accommodation to park closer to the accessible route to the pier. The area used for parking is a free for all and considering the vehicles with boat trailers it may be easy to be blocked in or your ramp blocked. Users should park strategically so that they can get back to their vehicle and get their lift down. The site has other amenities available but most are not accessible. The parking area is located some distance from the fishing pier so users are cautioned. The fishing pier has benches available but are on the opposite side of the dock which may pose a problem when fishing. It may be better to bring a chair with so that you can sit close to your rod. The pier itself has a self adjusting transition plate that compensates for the changes in lake height. Various methods of fishing are used here dependent on species with the most common type of fishing being hook and bobber.
